watchOS or Wear OS
SagittIA works with an Apple Watch paired with an iPhone, or with a Wear OS watch paired with a compatible Android phone. In both cases, the SagittIA app must be installable on the watch.
Compatible watches
For connected watches, SagittIA is compatible only with Apple Watch running watchOS and watches running Wear OS.

Microphone permission is required to detect the acoustic impulse associated with the shot.
The watch must provide the linear motion and rotation used by the sensor-fusion algorithm.
The watch is not standalone: Apple Watch requires an iPhone, and a Wear OS watch requires a compatible phone.
The heart-rate sensor is optional. Without it, heart rate cannot be displayed, but shot detection still works if the four requirements above are met.

Garmin OS, HarmonyOS, Zepp OS, Fitbit OS, Tizen and every other watch operating system.

Privacy
Acoustic analysis is performed locally on the watch. Raw audio buffers are neither stored nor transmitted. Only the result useful to the session — for example, the moment of the shot — is used. Watch data is never reused to improve SagittIA or train an AI model.
Yes, if the microphone, linear acceleration, gyroscope and communication with the phone are available.
Not for the current automatic detection: sensor fusion combines motion and an acoustic impulse.
It is called watchOS. SagittIA supports Apple Watch running watchOS as well as watches running Wear OS.
No. SagittIA currently supports no watch operating system other than watchOS and Wear OS.
