FAQ

Useful answers before you get started

Essential answers about the trial, plans and the role of AI in coaching.

Can an FFTA archer use SagittIA in English?

Yes. Interface language and federation affiliation are independent settings. Choosing English does not hide FFTA features while the account remains affiliated with FFTA.

What happens when I select another federation?

FFTA-specific licence fields, progression feathers and arrows, badges, mandates, team rounds and national labels are hidden. Your memberships, sessions, scores, programmes and history are kept.

Are 18 m, 50 m and 70 m converted to yards in English?

No. These are official World Archery metric formats, so SagittIA keeps them in metres in both French and English.

Do I need an FFTA licence to join a club?

No. Club membership uses your SagittIA account, an email invitation or a secure invitation token. Licence lookup is only an optional FFTA convenience.

Do I need a payment card?

No. The trial is free for 30 days and no payment card is required.

Does AI replace the coach?

No. AI helps review certain movement markers, but the coach and archer keep control of interpretation and decisions.

Can I change how I use SagittIA after signing up?

Yes. You can move from an Archer use to Coach or Club according to your needs.

Is there a Club plan?

Yes. Dedicated plans are available for clubs and organisations.

Where is data hosted?

Data and infrastructure are hosted in France.

What happens after the 30 days?

You keep your data and choose the plan that suits you.

Which bow types are supported?

SagittIA is designed for recurve and compound bow training at different levels of practice.

What equipment do I need to record video?

A smartphone is enough to get started. Analysis quality mainly depends on framing, lighting and video stability.

Are my videos private?

Yes. The source video is not stored after processing: only generated slow-motion clips are kept in your history. They remain under your control and are not used to improve SagittIA, build a dataset or train a model.

Does my coach automatically see my data?

No. Access must match the framework you choose: personal account, coach support or club space.

How long does an analysis take?

The product aims to provide a useful review shortly after the video is added, without turning analysis into a burdensome task.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. The product supports rights of access, rectification, export and deletion.

How should I frame a video for analysis?

Place the phone to the side or at a slight three-quarter angle, keep the full archer in frame and avoid backlighting.

Does SagittIA work on mobile?

Yes. The SagittIA app is planned for iPhone and Android alongside web access. Direct links will be enabled once the apps are published in the stores.

Which watches are compatible with SagittIA?

Only Apple Watch running watchOS and watches running Wear OS. Garmin, Huawei, Amazfit and Fitbit watches, and older Tizen models, are not supported.

Can minors use SagittIA?

Yes. In France, when optional processing relies on the consent of a user under 15, the joint agreement of the minor and the holder of parental authority is required.

Can SagittIA be rolled out gradually in a club?

Yes. A club can start with a pilot group, then expand use to the relevant coaches, archers and club leaders.

Can scores and sessions be entered without video?

Yes. Session tracking remains useful without video analysis, particularly for keeping history and progress markers.

What are the limits of AI analysis?

AI depends on video quality and does not replace observation in the field. It supports review; it is not an automatic verdict.

Are invoices available for clubs?

Yes. Paid organisation plans provide clear administrative tracking and proof of payment.

Who should I contact before choosing a Club plan?

The simplest option is to start the trial or use the contact area to specify the number of archers and coaches and the club's needs.
